This is new work for a long-term series that started in 2014. It was around this time that the Scottish Independence referendum quickly followed by Brexit, pushed nationhood into becoming a very pressing issue for the UK.
These photographs take a broad ranging look around the country at a time of unease. Portraying our connections, dependencies and structures as shifting, uncertain and ominous.
The photographs range from the national extremities of airspace and Channel Island coastlines, through to intimate meeting rooms, lone figures and huge structures at the heart of our cities.
