This work is a revisit to themes that I began to look at way back in 2014. It was around this time that the Scottish Independence referendum followed by Brexit, pushed nationhood into becoming a very pressing issue for the UK.
This new work expands on this sense of social unease – shifting cohesion & connections, dependencies & structures - to look at the isolation & atomisation of contemporary corporate/tech led society as a whole.
The photographs range from the national extremities of airspace and Channel Island coastlines, through to intimate meeting rooms, lone figures and huge structures at the heart of our cities.
