Spectral Pastoral has grown out of a love of landscape paintings, prints and photography. In particular our emotive conceiving of the land.
Shot in woodlands, parks and farmland the photographs draw heavily on the imagery of folk lore, fairy tales and myth; the iconography of a deep-rooted psychological attachment to the land that is attuned to its beauty, portents, enchantment and cycles.
